Ja prima, Danke.
Habe das gefunden:
is the SCM Cancel Cam. I spoke to the service manager about how to repalce and he was extremely unhelpful. A nearby tech heard me ask him questions and outside he told me to disconnect the neg batt cable, wait 10-15 mins (FSM says 2 mins I think) and then remove the airbag by removing the two screws behind the steering wheel (behind the horn, from the back). Remove the steering wheel (I used a steering wheel puller, avail for rent from Autozone). He said after that I would be able to figure it out and it was really easy. So I did that, removed the airbag, and then removed the steering wheel. I removed the shroud around the steering column by removing the two? screws under the steering column. It comes off in two pieces, one one top and one on bottom. At that point I kinda pulled out the SCM (Steering control module) and saw the small plastic ring that is the SCM cancel cam. I pulled out the old one which was cracked and slid in the new one. I replaced everything in reverse order, replaced the steering wheel, plugged in the airbag and reconnected the neg battery cable. Everything worked great.
The Cancel Cam is just a small plastic ring. The service manager also said it could also be the clock spring, but that was not the case in my situation.
If you attempt this, just be sure to have the part on hand, make sure the steering wheel is straight and wheels are straight before removing and replacing the steering wheel. I was also very afraid of the airbag deploying so I waited a long time after diconnecting the batt cable and did all the work removing the airbag from underneath the steering wheel just in case it deployed.
If you are not comfortable working on the airbag, I would recommend paying the dealer to do this or try to live with the click. To me the click was just too annoying and I thought I would give it a try to save $150-$200 in labor for a $10?? part. It really was a piece of cake. If you do attempt please be careful and good luck.
If you rig is still under warranty they should do this for free. Mine jsut expired so I did myself.
Aber ich denke ich lasse es weiter klicken. Da habe ich wichtigeres zu tun, als Lenkrad samt Airbag zu demontieren.
